The Father of Playboy Dies At 91
From Playboy Bunnies to the Playboy Mansion parties, Hugh Hefner has built a brand that has made him millions for over 60 years! He started the magazine to showcase beautiful women and give those with some celebrity, a chance to be photographed in ways that most of the world had never seen them. Some of the stars that have graced the cover are: Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Drew Barrymore, and Kim Kardashian, to name a few.
Hefner's health has been on a rapid decline for the past year; according to TMZ. Sources say that the mogul died in his home surrounded by those he loved. This comes just a year after his brother died from cancer.
Hefner is survived by his wife, Crystal Hefner (31), and his four children: Christie and David (with ex-wife Mildred Williams) and Marston and Cooper (with ex-wife Kimberly Conrad).
For many, Playboy was not about vulgarity and nude photos, it was about capturing and appreciating the beauty of the female gender as a whole. I'm sure many will miss Hefner in his signature robe with staple cigar, however, his legacy and his brand will live on among those who idolized and adored him for being the oldest player in the game!
